Faculty of Health and Society
The education and research activities at the Faculty of Health and Society aim at contributing to the knowledge base in order to preserve, support and promote people’s physical, psychological, and social health.
We offer two Master's Programmes in English, one in Biomedical Methods and Technology and one in Criminology.
We educate nurses, social workers and biomedical scientists and offer programmes in Criminology, Social Pedagogical Work in the field of Disability and Mental Health. You can also study to a Bachelor´s Degree in Handicap- and Rehabilitation Science.
A multifaceted research with strong ties to the local community is conducted at the Faculty. Interesting research is taking place in areas ranging from Science, Technology and Medicine to Social Science. At the interfaces between them, exciting new areas for research are being generated.
